"A Thousand Years of Our Existence

after Birth"100 x 70 cm.

Mixed technique (sand, stone, bone, paint)

Is it not madness to want to immortalize man torn out of the womb, vulnerable, forced to disappointment and failure, mortal and ephemeral - and in a surrealistic way to believe this to be death?

An in the  meantime to miss to make contact with the winged creature growing in the mortal cocoon of the body?

Man was not born to be happy but to experience grave and painful rites of initiation.
